Today's workplace is constantly evolving and changing. Relationship building and the support it provides through formal and informal networks have become an important component to success in the emerging global market. This workshop will address the issue of coaching and mentoring, from both ends of the spectrum, identify the benefits individually and organizationally and provide the tools and techniques needed to be an effective mentor and coach.
Objectives:
- Identify the skills and traits of a good mentor and coach
- Determine when and how to supervise, coach, or mentor
- Understand and implement your own unique coaching and mentoring style
- Discuss value of formal & informal mentoring models
- Build rapport through communication, cooperation and collaboration
- Learn do's and don'ts of delegation
- Practice creative problem-solving techniques
